Here are some wonderful signs that spring has indeed arrived in East Dayton. These are compiled from walks around my neighborhood.
Living in Dayton can make you feel pretty special sometimes and after discovering Sweet P’s the other day (I thought it was just in the market, so I was very happy!) I felt pretty special indeed because not every town has a specialty popsicle shop and ours is quite yummy.
There is nothing better than fro yo, even when it’s still cold outside. So when my mom, sister, and I wanted to spend some time together on a recent weekend, Yoba is the first place we thought of.
And they’ve made some changes – Fresh green wall and some new decor [...]
On a recent trip to Eastwood Metropark, we spotted this blue heron. We even got to see it fly but we couldn’t get a picture of that fast enough.
This walk was a little different because we walked all around the creek and I didn’t realize there is a beautiful waterfall right before [...]
I have been super jealous/excited having the opportunity to spy my neighbor’s garden over my fence. They are currently trying to sell the house, and I can’t imagine that it could be on the market long with flowers like these growing in the back yard. It was such a beautiful spring day. I remember that the weather [...]

April is National Poetry Month!
My husband will tell you that one of my more annoying qualities is that I stop frequently on walks to take pictures of flowers, animals, signs, buildings, etc. The way I see it, it’s easier to go on walks and stay active at all if there are beautiful things to document the whole time. Here [...]
Welcome!
I love Dayton, I've lived here for all of my 26 years and don't plan on settling anywhere else. I started this blog as a way to showcase the best of Dayton (as seen through my perspective) and also to share some of the things that occupy space in my mind, namely beauty, home decor, quotes, and various aspects of my life.
