My family has a long running joke about the Jitterbug phone and how odd and insulting  to older people the advertisements were:  ”The buttons are so BIG and easy to READ!”  “The ear cushion makes talking on the phone so much more COMFORTABLE!”  But truthfully I always thought it was just a good idea executed poorly.
