You know how I feel about the Pop Up Shops in Dayton – but ARIN puts me over the moon with their gorgeous jewelry. Last Saturday, I decided to check them out ARIN and really didn’t know exactly what I would find. Of course, I’ve heard [...]
Well over a year ago, one of my favorite Etsy sellers, cricicis, designed this picture of my doggie, Julia! I was looking at it again today and it’s really something. She perfectly captures Julia’s dignity and serenity.
I can hardly believe these amazing paintings made using ball point pen ink by Shane McAdams. The spectrum of color he achieves from the ink inside the same pens we can buy at Office Depot is staggering.
Last weekend, I attended an open house for Guustie‘s glass art studio, which she recently remodeled. She was nice enough to give us a demonstration of how she creates her glass jewelry and it was fascinating! I love how she makes it look so easy like anyone could just trade seats with her and [...]

Armed with only a pencil (sans eraser, seriously) Paul Lung creates striking images of cats doing cat things – images that look like photographs and require video evidence as proof to the contrary. I’m amazed! The cats look so fluffy, I want to pet my monitor.
Welcome!
I love Dayton, I've lived here for all of my 26 years and don't plan on settling anywhere else. I started this blog as a way to showcase the best of Dayton (as seen through my perspective) and also to share some of the things that occupy space in my mind, namely beauty, home decor, quotes, and various aspects of my life.
