I hope you all loved Restaurant Week! I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Sneak Peek at the Dayton Art Institute put on by the Miami Valley Restaurant Association and I had such a wonderful time that I thought I hadn’t taken any photos. I did, in fact, take some pictures and even though I was balancing a plate, a drink, and a clutch purse, some of the snapshots turned out ok!
My favorite part of Restaurant Week was definitely the number of people who attended. I was only able to sit down at the very end because the place was absolutely packed to the brim! I thought this was so encouraging because it means a lot of people all excited about the restaurants in Dayton.
When I first arrived, all I kept hearing about was the ceviche from Salar. I was pretty excited when I stepped up to the ice slab that the ceviche was being served from and getting to try it was awesome! I have never had ceviche before but I can see why everyone was so excited about it.
I had a great time tasting amazing food with awesome people!
